Faction Music is an independent Irish record label working across multiple strands within the music industry – artist management, publishing, and consultancy. The team at Faction wanted a flexible system with a strong aesthetic of its own, but also with the ability to sit comfortably alongside a diverse catalogue of artists and their own visual styles.

The shards within the logo reference the Faction name while representing the different strands within the business, also emphasised by a dynamic brandmark. The shards can also be used to create patterns and holding devices for artist imagery. While the identity is primarily black and white, it isn't exactly a monotone brand, it’s a brand which reflects the colours of its artists. This is shown through the use of colour in social media posts and press releases. A mirrored foil on the business card, reflecting its environment, reinforces this idea.
